Description

Located on the path that leads from the Biandino mouth to the Grassi refuge, the Pio X Alpine House was built more than 110 years ago and has a rich history of hospitality for groups of children and young people looking for a unique experience.
It is ideal for school camps, scout camps, Oratory group holidays, etc. It is far from any distractions in a unique relationship with nature. At Pio X it is normal to wake up in the morning with ibex grazing in front of the house. In the house there is a real church consecrated by Cardinal Schuster.
The house cannot be reached by car but all the material, suitcases and supplies are brought to the house by the managers via Jeep and cable car. The best way to get an idea of the uniqueness of the Pio X is to come and visit it in the summer season.

Reachable only on foot.
