The "Nostra Signora del Rocciamelone" Alpine chapel is located in Bar Cenisio, a town in the municipality of Venaus (Turin), at an altitude of 1,500 meters above sea level. Owned by the Diocese of Susa, it is managed by the Don Paolo Bar Catholic Action Cultural Association.
Bar Cenisio is a hamlet in the municipality of Vanaus in the Province of Turin near the Italian border with France.
It is the last Italian village in the Cenischia Valley before the Italian-French border. Now deserted, it is a summer resort for the municipality of Venaus. A few kilometers from the Mont Cenis Pass, it is located about 14 kilometers from Susa.
