Included in the Val Bios Tourist District (Falcade, Passo San Pellegrino, Passo Valles) it is surrounded by a crown of peaks among the most famous of the Dolomite groups: Pale di San Martino, Mulaz, Cimon della Pala, Focobon, Marmolada, Cime d'Auta, Pelmo, Civetta and Moiazza. For those who love the Agordo Dolomites, it is the ideal place to satisfy the most disparate desires for outdoor pastime.

Canale is the starting point for magnificent walks on mountain paths, on gentle slopes that allow daily excursions on green meadows accessible to entire families. For the most demanding, it is possible to indulge in countless climbs on the most beautiful routes, that the whole world envies us.
Canale d'Agordo is a winter resort that guarantees an offer of quality, reliability and convenience by choosing the best solutions and offering its customers that safety and guarantee that the Tre Valli ski area can offer, being equipped with systems for programmed snow on most of the slopes. In fact, it has 100 km of downhill slopes, 31 ski lifts, 80 snow cannons, 20 snow ploughs.

Cross-country skiing is very developed, to which many organizational efforts are dedicated: in fact in the District you can find the most beautiful and varied routes of the Dolomites: Val Gares, Falcade, S. Pellegrino, offer slopes that can be defined as "the paradise" of cross-country skiing. In total you can count on about 40 km of slopes.
In Val Gares, among others, a triathlon competition takes place annually, focusing on the disciplines of cross-country skiing, mountain biking and cross-country running, which has seen famous guests among the female and male representatives of the national cross-country skiing team.
