Casa Amalia accommodates individuals or family groups requiring temporary accommodation in Verona for health reasons and to care for family members hospitalized in the city. In addition to meeting the primary need for a home, we are committed to offering hospitality in a safe, family-friendly environment, so that our guests can enjoy the time away from home for treatment and care of those hospitalized.

The facility is open year-round; it may be closed during some significant holidays.

The facility is managed by a volunteer organization and offers a total of five rooms on the first floor (without an elevator) of three different types: double, single, and triple. All rooms have a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer, as well as air conditioning and Wi-Fi. There are no accessible rooms. There are also some common areas, such as a large, fully equipped kitchen on the ground floor, with tables and chairs, for self-use with other guests, and an adjacent parking lot with parking spaces.

Accommodation includes cleaning and the provision of sheets and towels at the start of your stay. Reservations are made by telephone, Monday through Friday, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, by email, or via the online form on this website. The minimum stay is two nights. A self-certification of medical travel is required. Reception and check-in are open from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM Sunday through Friday, except Saturdays. Check-out is by 10:00 AM Monday through Sunday.

Smoking is prohibited throughout the property. Pets are not allowed. Reception is open during limited hours.
