We like to think of the Sampeyre Diocesan House as the "beautiful and smiling face of the Church of Alba." The Sampeyre House is not just concrete and iron, but a place of respite: a place to "take care" of oneself and others.
In these mountains, for over twenty years, thousands of children, young people, adults, and families have experienced wonderful moments of friendship and faith.

It is a modern, welcoming and extremely versatile structure, inaugurated in the early 1990s.
It is a house with rooms from a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 6 beds, all with private bathrooms (bath/shower).
It has a large internal chapel for celebrations and a small external chapel for retreats and moments of reflection.
It features large indoor spaces for entertainment, meetings, and play, even when the outdoor areas are closed.
The outdoor spaces lend themselves to a wide variety of activities, featuring large terraces with panoramic views of the valley, a fully enclosed courtyard, a square with volleyball and bocce courts, and a large wooded area surrounding the house.
The house is suitable, and has been specifically designed, to accommodate even very large groups: the external square can accommodate several coaches for guest service.
Here, guests find space to spend time together and share moments of fellowship amid the wonderful, simple beauty of the Varaita Valley mountains.
Located 1100 meters above sea level, close to Monviso, France (reachable via Colle dell'Agnello) and the villages of the upper valley (Casteldelfino, Pontechianale, Chianale).

Within 1 km, there's a church, bus stop, ATM, bar/restaurant, supermarket, pharmacy, and residential area. The hospital is 5 to 10 km away. The train station and airport are over 10 km away.
