Holiday house LA BENEDICTA in Santa Caterina Valfurva (Sondrio)
COE "CENTRO ORIENTAMENTO EDUCATIVO” is religious trust of the Diocese of Milan, it owns “LA BENEDICTA” an holiday house. The presence of the COE dates back 1957 in Valfurva, at the begging with the purchase of a house whose aim was to host and then in 1970 the current accommodation facility was built. The trust was established by Don Francesco Pedretti, priest of the Diocese of Milan, and it has as statutory commitment "... the promotion of a religious and educational training…also through the establishment and management of missions and community centers ….". To respect this commitment, volunteers have been involved in welcoming and supporting the hosts, as well as in the educational field the COE educators. This has given the House a particular connotation as a place in which to grow humanly and spiritually.
"LaBenedicta" was refurnished at the end of 2010 and it is a very welcoming structure, able to meet the needs of families, young people and children with appropriate space for a stay that favors the encounters and exchange between people. The House, in the heart of the Stelvio National Park, has been made eco-friendly with the installation of solar panels and participating on the virgin biomass district heating network of Santa Caterina Valfurva thus reducing CO2 emissions. In addition, the rooms have been equipped with a computerized system to switch off lights and room - bathroom temperature adjustment that allows further energy saving.

Required down payment, no smoking in all house, reception at a set time .
The house “LaBenedicta” applies, by choice, unique rates without distinction between high and low seasons divided into Winter and Summer.
