SEVERINO FABRIANI Holiday House in Rome
Our story began in 1828 in Modena, Italy, when the priest Don Severino Fabriani, inspired by God, founded the religious family of the " Daughters of Providence for the deaf and mute" with charisma, the mission and the keen desire to renew the miracle of Jesus who makes " hear the deaf and speak the dumb" (Mk 7:37 ).
Conquered by the love of Jesus, the Daughters of Providence dedicate all their energies to the education, education and service of the deaf in Italy, Brazil, Sri Lanka and Nigeria.
The structure is unique for the generosity of its spaces and the surrounding environment.
The House has 54 rooms completely and tastefully renovated, equipped with all modern comforts, with capacity for up to 88 guests.
Located a short distance from the center of Rome and St. Peter's Square (Vatican City) is easily accessible by any means. The house is surrounded by a beautiful park.
A unique environment where you can "feel good" and relax your body and spirit. Hospitality, practiced with the help of lay people who share the path of the Congregation, is familiar, true, attentive ... a welcome that has distant roots.
The Chapel inside the house is available to all those who wish to gather in a moment of prayer or private need. The Eucharistic celebrations are scheduled every day at 06.30. The religious of the community are available for spiritual assistance to all people who need or require it. The religious factor, which gives an unequivocal identity and connotation to our work, is a serene and free proposal that invites us to understand and stimulate reflection.
A few meters from the house stands the University of Niccolò Cusano, a private university in Rome, named after the humanist Niccolò Cusano.
The house is particularly suitable for students and their families, teachers, speakers and conventions.
As a charisma that animates the work, the structure is particularly attentive to deaf and dumb people of all nationalities to whom it offers special rates. Specialized and equipped to accommodate deaf people.
