The “Pio IX” Spirituality House and the Pastoral Center, located in the Municipality of Itri (LT) on Mount Fusco (673 m above sea level), next to the thousand-year-old Sanctuary of Maria SS.ma della Civita, welcome groups for retreat days, school camps, spiritual meetings, training sessions and pastoral activities.

The facilities offer a total of approximately 50 beds, with rooms equipped with en-suite bathrooms and heating for the winter. Meeting and conference spaces are also available, as well as the sanctuary church and chapel for liturgical celebrations.

The complex is located in the Monti Aurunci Natural Park, in a panoramic position that encourages moments of prayer, reflection, and contact with nature, as well as the possibility of organizing walks and excursions. Nearby are also several destinations of interest, such as Sperlonga, Gaeta, Campodimele, Lenola, and the Pastena Caves, as well as the Woodpark adventure park.

The property is surrounded by nature and is about 200 meters from the Sanctuary church, while the main services (bus stop, train station, pharmacy, supermarkets, hospital and other businesses) are over 10 km away.

Smoking is prohibited inside the facilities, pets are not allowed, and reception is open during set hours.

By provisions of the Ministry of Tourism, the facility is exempt from the National Identification Code as it does not charge fees but accepts donations to support its activities.
