Holiday Home SANTO STEFANO in Rome
106 posti letto

Description
The Santo Stefano Holiday Home is located in the western part of Rome, behind the Janiculum Hill, in the flat Monteverde Nuovo neighborhood. The green spaces surrounding Via del Casaletto, with their idyllic atmosphere, offer an excellent opportunity for physical and mental regeneration. However, the bustling Via dei Colli Portuensi, just 200 meters away, offers pilgrims and tourists visiting Rome a wide range of shops, cafes, and welcoming restaurants to suit every need.
Over the past three years, the House has been completely renovated. The work has significantly improved not only the layout of the rooms and common areas, but also their technical and aesthetic features. In May 2020, the Hungarian Episcopal Conference purchased the House of Saint Stephen, but its management has remained unchanged, having been entrusted to the St. Stephen of Hungary Foundation for Worship and Religion. In 2021, the new owner, in addition to completing the renovations, also modernized the building's energy supply, using solar panels and digging a private well in the complex's garden. A multipurpose room capable of hosting film screenings and theatrical performances has been set up in the basement.
Within 200 meters: church, bus stop, ATM, bar/restaurant, supermarket, pharmacy, residential area. Between 1 and 5 km: train station, hospital. Over 10 km: airport.
