House Scout COLONIA DON ORIONE in Piobbico (Pesaro Urbino)
Description
Former self-managed colony, located at around 1400 metres above sea level on Mount Nerone, immersed in an unspoiled landscape.
On the ground floor, there's a professionally equipped kitchen, an internal pantry, and a fireplace for barbecues, as well as two private rooms for the kitchen staff. A large dining room seating over one hundred people opens onto a fireplace that also embraces the very spacious entrance hall. There's also a games room, seven bedrooms with approximately 40 bunk beds, and numerous toilets, showers, and sinks.
On the first floor, opposite the large entrance, there are several small bedrooms in the attic, each with 2/4 beds, for a total of approximately 45 beds - several toilets and showers.
The exterior: The house is located on the road that climbs from Serravalle di Carda (9.5 km) to the Corsini refuge (600 m) and continues towards the village of Piobbico (11.5 km). On the left, after a large gravel area, you reach the small church for spiritual activities. To the back, the beech forest immediately opens up, and in front is the large grassy clearing for games and the area for the evening fire.
Management: Each group, by becoming a member of the Foundation, can use the house on a self-managed basis by paying a daily fee. Guests are responsible for electricity, gas, and water costs. For anything not covered in these notes, please refer to the regulations.
Within 1 km there's a bar/restaurant. Over 10 km away there's a church, bus stop, supermarket, pharmacy, hospital, and residential area.
Minimum one week.
The facility is exempt from the National Identification Code as it welcomes groups exclusively within its own pastoral activity.
