Structure mainly reserved for scout groups.

The Scout Base is part of the CBA (AGESCI Base Communities) and is located at Piani Resinelli near Lecco at approximately 13 m above sea level at the foot of the Grigne Group.

Overnight accommodation for up to 24 people, daytime accommodation for up to 60 people.

The base is equipped with: Overnight accommodations: bunk beds with mattresses, mattress covers, pillows, and blankets; guests must bring their own sleeping bag or sleeping bag sheet. Rooms sleep 4, 6, or 8. Facilities: 7 toilets, 5 showers, and 11 sinks. There is also a medical room with its own toilet, reserved for medical needs. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, gas stove (LPG), microwave, slicer, pots and pans, dishes, and cutlery for 40 people. A dining hall. A laundry room with a washing machine and tub. A chapel.

At Piani Resinelli, you can go on hikes and walks of varying lengths and difficulty, including: Short hikes (maximum 2 hours): Parco Valentino, Monte Coltignone, Forcellino, Parco Valentino, Rifugio Porta; Long and challenging hikes (over 3 hours): Grigna Meridinale, Rifugio Rosalba.

During the summer, you can enjoy outdoor games and activities on the lawn (at the entrance to Valentino Park), in Prato della Nave, and in the surrounding woods. In winter, in the same areas, you can play snow games or watch the stars, and enjoy the endless night lights of the Brianza towns.

Mountaineering requires specific skills and equipment.

Piani Resinelli Mining Park: The mines, dating back to the Renaissance, were restored in 2002 and made accessible to guided tours. Groups can take advantage of specialized geology, botany, and meteorology workshops, available by reservation.

Villa Gerosa House Museum: The House Museum is located within Valentino Park and was born from the Mountain Community's desire to tell the story of the Grigne mountain range.

Resinelli Adventure Park: This amusement park features several aerial courses at various heights, allowing visitors to swing from tree to tree with the help of lianas, rope bridges, cables, nets, and walkways.

Piani Resinelli doesn't have a proper shop where you can do your shopping. There's a grocery store about 1 km away (reservations are recommended for large quantities of bread). There are a few bars and trattoria-style restaurants nearby. The nearest supermarket is in Ballabio (about 8 km).

In Piani Resinelli, Mass is celebrated in the Church of the Sacred Heart only on Sundays, at 4:00 PM in the winter and at 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM in the summer. Groups with an assistant can celebrate Mass in the village church, by prior arrangement with the Parish Priest of Abbadia Lariana, who appreciates this collaboration as it avoids a long trip. In Ballabio Superiore, parish Mass is celebrated at 5:30 PM on both Saturdays and Sundays. The BASE has a prayer room for small groups.

Smoking is prohibited throughout the property. Groups of at least 15 people are permitted.

The facility is exempt from the National Identification Code as it does not apply tariffs and simply requests reimbursement for the actual consumption of water, electricity, gas and heating.
