Altino is the highest ancient settlement on the eastern side of the Sibillini Mountains National Park (1050 m above sea level): it offers friendliness, pure air, spring water, shady woods and sunny meadows, itineraries and mountain paths immersed in unspoiled nature.
These are the characteristics that have made Altino a favorite destination for scout camps for over thirty years! Furthermore, for several years now, the Scout House has been open for all summer and winter camps, for Cub Scouts, Scout units and clans (and for group camps), as well as for school camps and parish summer camps.
The "CASCINA ROSSA" SCOUT HOUSE (300 m2 on two floors) is located in the village, with a large, fenced garden filled with trees. It has 50 beds in 5 dormitories, a professional kitchen, a large living room with a fireplace that can be used as a dining room, movie theater, or for indoor activities, 5 bathrooms, and 4 showers. In addition to the garden, other spaces and meadows in the surrounding area are available for activities and games. Ideal for school camps and Cub Scout camps.
The camping sites are located one above and two below the town, but in isolated locations, accessible by vehicle via rural roads. They are connected to the municipal water supply and have permits for lighting fires in designated areas and digging latrines.
