Description
The hospitality service began around 2007, inside the Convent of San Francesco, adjacent to the Basilica of San Francesco. The convent was built in the fifteenth century and expanded in 1518.
After secularization, part of it was used as the headquarters of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Siena and the Library of the Legal Society.
Conveniently located within the Basilica's cloister, the Casa per Ferie is a peaceful oasis from which to discover Siena's medieval secrets.
Within 200 meters, there's a church. Within 1 km, there's a bus stop and train station.
