In a lush green area, 12,000 square meters wide. Just outside the town of Cesclans, on the top of one of the plateaus overlooking Lake Cavazzo in the province of Udine at 400 meters above sea level, the Scout Village-holiday homes “Aldo Braida” – Cuel dal Nibli finds its worthy setting.
The complex is made up of characteristic chalets and terraced accommodations made of fir wood, furnished to reflect the typical classic mountain style and with its 76 beds it is the ideal place for retreats, "green weeks" for school groups, internships and courses, holidays and weekends. All this, without betraying its first vocation of being an organized place for scout activities such as camps, training events and camps. Recently renovated and restructured to be fully compliant with current regulations, the Village is open all year round and is organized in such a way as to be able to host, in its facilities, the stay of groups and families through the use of specific services for small groups of people or for large communities.
The village's facilities are completed by two large tents that allow outdoor activities to be carried out in the safety of a covered area. Given their large size, the two tents are also suitable for hosting events or days organised with relatives and friends of the people staying at the Village.
In the immediate vicinity of the Village, then, there are three camp areas equipped with drinking water points that allow the creation of summer tent camping in a quiet area but at the same time close to the Village and its facilities as well as to the town of Cesclans and, a little further away, to Cavazzo Carnico and its famous lake.
