Welcoming house FRA LUIGI DE DONNO in Scorrano (Lecce)
42 posti letto

Description
The Fra Luigi De Donno Reception House was born from the idea of redeveloping and giving a new purpose to a structure (formerly a seminary) that had remained unused within the Convent of the Capuchin Friars Minor of Scorrano.
The fundamental idea behind this project was to provide a facility for everyone (Christians and non-Christians alike) that would be a place for discussion, sharing, and hospitality among diverse people.
A home that puts at its heart the encounter between people who would normally not have the opportunity to dedicate and share time together, free from roles, fundamentalisms, false moralisms, or political banners, but rather confronting each other as simple and straightforward people.
The house embodies one of the rules dictated by Francis: "The friars must not live alone, but must care for their brothers (and for everyone in general) with love and dedication. This same care extends unconditionally not only to human creatures, but to all creation as the work of God and therefore sacred, thus living universal brotherhood."
Within 200 meters: church, bus stop, supermarket, pharmacy, hospital, residential area.
With credentials or presentation only.
The facility is exempt from the National Identification Code as it does not apply tariffs and simply requests reimbursement for the actual consumption of water, electricity, gas and heating.
