“Domus Laetitiae” of Assisi is a religious house of hospitality.

In 2012 the structure was completely rebuilt according to the most modern anti-seismic safety criteria.

The “Domus Laetitiae” is the ideal place for those who wish to spend a few peaceful and pleasant days in the city of St. Francis.

Our house is located a few steps from the fourteenth-century city walls, just a 10-minute walk from the Basilica of Santa Chiara and a 20-minute walk from the Papal Basilica of San Francesco.

It currently comprises a large semicircular church embellished with mosaics by Father Ivan Marko Rupnik SJ, with an adjoining large penitentiary and sacristy, an internal chapel, a multimedia room for conferences and conventions with restrooms and a bar, a comfortable dining room, a multipurpose hall with a bar, a beautiful panoramic study room overlooking the valley and Mount Subasio, and various types of rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, telephones, and Wi-Fi.

The facility also has large parking spaces for buses and cars.
