It is a reception facility for pilgrims on the Way of St. Francis, groups, families, movements, religious institutes, and others who wish to have a positive experience: community, educational, cultural, and religious.

The building, located in the beautiful Piazza Tanucci next to the medieval parish church of Santa Maria Assunta, is a single complex: it includes rooms for a total of 18 beds, with adequate bathrooms, heating, a community room (with a fully equipped kitchen from July 2023), and a dining room. The entire complex can be self-managed, both in terms of daily cleaning and kitchen services.

A few dozen meters away, there is an annex with 6 beds.

The shelter is open year-round. Guests can choose their preferred stay period: Saturdays and Sundays, holidays, entire weeks; or, for pilgrims on the Way of St. Francis, even for just one night.

By provisions of the Ministry of Tourism, the facility is exempt from the National Identification Code as it does not charge fees but accepts donations to the management body.
