The "Don Ferdinando Giovannetti" holiday home is located in the village of Poggio alla Lastra, at the entrance to the abandoned Pietrapazza Valley, in the municipality of Bagno di Romagna. After extensive renovations, the nursery school was inaugurated on September 21, 1941, entrusted to the nuns of the Ursuline Institute of Gandino. It carried out intense recreational, educational, and religious activities, and also served as a winter work school for girls until the early 1970s, when only a few families remained in Poggio alla Lastra.
