The purpose of the Accommodation Facility called “Studentato Duns Scoto”, managed by the “Provincia S. Antonio dei Frati Minori” Institution, is to offer guests a peaceful and study environment and to give them an opportunity to rediscover human and Christian values, in a relationship of respect and cordiality with everyone. The “Duns Scoto” University Student Residence is a temporary place of stay, offered by the Franciscan Friars only to Students enrolled and regularly attending the University of Bologna .
The preferred criterion is to accept only university students, however all people who correspond to ideals of Christian life.
We only accept university students who stay in the facility for at least one year including the period when the Student Residence is closed in August.
To access the facility, a prior interview with the Director of the Student House is required, during the COVID-19 emergency period also via Skype by appointment, and the presentation of a valid identification document of which a copy will be retained by the Management; access will be permitted or not at the sole discretion of the Director also in relation to the accommodation availability of the facility.
Guests must take at least two thirds (2/3) of the exams according to their study plan (for students enrolled in scientific faculties, students may make arrangements with the Director from time to time).
When agreeing to stay in the house for the following year, certification of the exams taken in the previous year and a verification interview with the Director are required.
Within 200 m. church, bus stop, ATM, bar/restaurant, supermarket, pharmacy, inhabited area. Between 1 and 5 km train station, airport, hospital.
Annual stay only, No smoking in the entire property, Deposit required, Refrigerator in the rooms.
The property is exempt from the National Identification Code as it welcomes guests only for long-term stays with a specific contract.
