The purpose of the "Duns Scoto Student Residence," managed by the "Provincia S. Antonio dei Frati Minori" organization, is to offer guests a peaceful, study-friendly environment and the opportunity to rediscover human and Christian values, in a respectful and cordial relationship with all. The "Duns Scoto" University Residence is a temporary residence, offered by the Franciscan Friars only to students enrolled and regularly attending the University of Bologna .
The preferred criterion is to accept only university students, in any case all people who correspond to the ideals of Christian life.
We only accept university students who have been staying in the facility for at least one year, including the period when the Student Residence is closed in August.
Access to the facility requires a prior interview with the Director of the Student Residence, which during the COVID-19 emergency can also be arranged via Skype by appointment. Students must also present a valid identification document, a copy of which will be retained by the Management. Access will be granted at the Director's sole discretion, depending on the availability of the facility.
Guests will have to take at least two thirds (2/3) of the exams according to their study plan (for students enrolled in scientific faculties, students may make arrangements from time to time with the Director).
When agreeing to stay in the house for the following year, certification of the exams taken the previous year and a verification interview with the Director are required.

Annual stay only, Smoking prohibited throughout the property, Deposit required, Refrigerator in rooms.

The property is exempt from the National Identification Code as it welcomes guests only for long-term stays with a specific contract.
