CARESTO HERMITAGE - 60 beds - Via Caresto 1 - Sant'Angelo in Vado

The CARESTO COMMUNITY is a family association that organizes spiritual retreats for families (including engaged couples) every weekend of the year. It offers full hospitality to independent couples, parish groups, and movements from all over Italy, including those with children, who follow a separate program.

We call our meetings "spiritual exercises" because they aren't based solely on preaching and personal reflection, as is often the case, but rather employ an active approach suited to married couples: exercises, spiritual training, and work together as a couple. Everything is tailored to the family: the hospitality, the style and layout of the home, the practical topics suited to the couple's dynamics and lay mentality, the work and dialogue between the couple (which is the most important part), the times for formation and prayer.
The proposed catechesis and practical activities are suitable for ordinary believers who wish to improve their marital unity and harmony; no high level of study or particular religious preparation is required (even those with little religious background find them comfortable). The language is that of ordinary people.

Main activities.
• The main commitment, which binds all weekends of the year, consists in the weekly organization of spiritual exercises for families,
• In the last decade, particular attention has been paid to separated, remarried, and widowed people; for each of these activities, a path of support, attention, and training has been activated.
• Recently an experience dedicated to teenagers and to that moment in which they feel the need to open up to others: "not just friends, not yet engaged".

By provisions of the Ministry of Tourism, the facility is exempt from the National Identification Code as it does not charge fees but accepts donations to the management body.

PALAZZI HOLIDAY HOME - 70 beds - Via Palazzi 1 - Sant'Angelo in Vado

The house is near the town center of Sant'Angelo in Vado (the capital of the ancient Massa Trabaria), nestled among the rolling hills bordering four regions: Marche, Romagna, Umbria, and Tuscany. Situated 400 meters above sea level, it's easily accessible due to its proximity to the main road, but also nestled in the rolling countryside, bordering the fish-rich Metauro River.

It's ideal for groups (no more than 70 people) and even for single families staying in apartments. In addition to the vast surrounding space, there are fields and woods accessible by small roads, even for walks.

Its geographical location allows for short excursions to nearby Urbino, La Verna, Assisi, Gubbio, the Frasassi Caves, San Marino, and San Leo, along with the magnificent Montefeltro area, the source of the Tiber River, the Furlo Gorges, Gradara (home of Paolo and Francesca), and many historic and picturesque medieval villages. It's still a relatively new area for tourism, which allows for very reasonable costs.
