HERMITAGE OF CARESTO - 60 beds - Via Caresto 1 - Sant'Angelo in Vado
The CARESTO COMMUNITY is an association of families that organizes spiritual exercises for families (even for engaged couples) every weekend of the year. It is designed to offer complete hospitality to independent couples, parish groups, movements from all over Italy, even with the presence of children, who follow a separate program.
We call our meetings 'spiritual exercises', because they are not based only on preaching and personal reflection as often happens, but with an active method suitable for spouses: exercises, training... of the spirit, work of the two as a couple. Everything is organized to suit the family: hospitality, the style and structure of the house, practical themes suitable for the dynamics of the couple and the lay mentality, the work-dialogue between the two as a couple (which is the most important part), the times of formation and prayer...
The catechesis and practical activities that are proposed are suitable for ordinary believers who wish to improve their marital unity and harmony; a high level of study or particular religious preparation is not required (even people who are not very religious feel at ease). The language is that of ordinary people.
Main activities.
• The main commitment, which binds all weekends of the year, consists in the weekly organization of spiritual exercises for families,
• In the last decade, particular attention has been paid to separated people, remarried people and even widows; for each of these activities, a path of support, attention and training has been activated.
• An experience dedicated to teenagers and to that moment in which they feel the need to open up to others: "not just friends, not yet engaged".
By provisions of the Ministry of Tourism, the facility is exempt from the National Identification Code as it does not apply rates but accepts donations in favor of the management body.

PALAZZI HOLIDAY HOUSE - 70 beds - Via Palazzi 1 - Sant'Angelo in Vado
The house is close to the city center of Sant'Angelo in Vado (capital of the ancient Massa Trabaria), among the rolling hills that border four regions: Marche, Romagna, Umbria and Tuscany; at 400 meters above sea level, easy to access because it is close to the state road, but also in the heart of the hilly countryside, with the fish-filled Metauro river.
It is suitable as a holiday for groups (no more than 70 people) and also for single families in apartments. In addition to the vast space around, there are fields and woods that small roads make accessible, even for walks.
The geographical position allows small excursions to the nearby Urbino, La Verna, Assisi, Gubbio, Frasassi Caves, San Marino and San Leo with the magnificent Montefeltro, the sources of the Tiber, the Furlo Gorges, Gradara (home of Paolo and Francesca) and many historic and picturesque medieval villages. It is an area still new to tourism and this allows very limited costs.
