Description

The reception facility of the Sanctuary of Maria SS.ma Mater Adonai of Brucoli (Augusta) is an ancient convent recently restored. It is owned by the Diocese of Syracuse, managed by the Parish Mother Church of Augusta.

It is located just 150 meters from the sea, which can be easily accessed.
It currently offers 50 beds in 13 rooms with 16 bunk beds.
It is suitable for hosting especially youth groups or people who are not looking for the comfort of 5-star facilities.
The bathrooms are shared and divided into two batteries. Only one room has a complete internal bathroom.
The property has a disabled bathroom (shower, toilet and sink).
There are 8 internal showers with three boilers, 6 internal sinks, 4 external sinks, 8 toilets.
During the summer, the outdoor showers are used (currently seven).
It is equipped with a kitchen equipped with dishes, pots, cutlery, fridge and freezer.
Public chapel, 50-seat meeting room, large refectory, parking space, and fenced and shaded outdoor spaces. There is a TV system but no television.

The water is drawn from the sanctuary well: good for human use but we cannot guarantee its absolute drinkability. We keep some tanks that the groups fill in the village.
The sanctuary has no bus service, a private car is required.
Possibility of agreement for the supply of meals with a local company. In the surrounding area there are local markets and various supermarkets.
DUE TO THE PECULIARITY OF THE STRUCTURE , IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO ACCOMMODATE TWO GROUPS OR SINGLE PEOPLE .
FOR PRECAUTIONARY REASONS, PETS CANNOT BE ACCOMMODATED.

Within 200 m. church. Between 1 and 5 km bus stop, supermarket, pharmacy, residential area. Between 5 and 10 km train station, hospital. Over 10 km airport.

Smoking is prohibited throughout the property. Pets are not allowed.

By provisions of the Ministry of Tourism, the facility is exempt from the National Identification Code as it does not apply rates but accepts donations in favor of the management body. It also welcomes groups exclusively within its pastoral activity, requesting only reimbursement for the actually accounted consumption of water, electricity, gas and heating.
