Description

Nestled in the mountains of the Sangone Valley, the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes Sanctuary is an oasis of peace and prayer. A destination for pilgrims for many years, it was founded by Don Viotti in thanksgiving to the Blessed Virgin of Lourdes following a healing miracle he received.
The large surrounding park features a modern-style reproduction of the Massabieille grotto, a Stations of the Cross both on the flat and uphill slopes, reproductions of key sites in the lives of Bernadette and Jesus, and reproductions of the Holy Stairs in Jerusalem and the Holy Shroud. The spiritual house offers refreshments and lodging to pilgrims, with services including a conference room, internal chapels, a basilica, a bar, and a restaurant.
