The splendid mountains and lush pine forests, the frame and backdrop of a painting in green tones, host the Madonna delle Nevi refuge in Mezzoldo, the last village in the Brembana Valley before the San Marco Pass for Valtellina, at about 1300 meters above sea level and just under 50 km from the city of Bergamo. Its 130 beds, divided into four residential buildings, make it an ideal place to host, in self-management or full board, groups of Oratory, children, adolescents and young people, single families looking for relaxing walks in the open air, sports teams for preparation retreats.
Open from June to October. In other periods by reservation.
The refuge also has: chapel, restaurant, bar, meeting rooms, a football pitch, two multi-purpose pitches, 150 m2 covered space.
The Casa dell'Aquila Reale, the main body of the Refuge, with the Bar-Restaurant on the ground floor, extends over a large panoramic terrace, equipped with tables, chairs and umbrellas.
The Casa delle Marmotte, recently renovated, is suitable for groups looking for a modern and functional space for their self-management.
Casa delle Betulle has a private flat garden and is particularly suitable for families and small groups.
The Stella Alpina Suites, in a panoramic position, are suitable for those who are particularly looking for silence and tranquility.
