The Hotel Terme “Mamma Margherita” located in Monteortone di Teolo (PD) was built and inaugurated in 1956. It does not have a long history behind it like the Hotel “San Marco” approximately 200 meters away, but built in Monteorone di Abano Terme (PD).

Both facilities are part of an LLC called ATESINA SAN MARCO and are managed by the Salesian Society of St. John Bosco, whose mission is the education of young people. The word “MAMMA” recalls the family management, while “MARGHERITA” Occhiena was the mother of Saint John Bosco.
In this regard, on 23 October 2006 the Holy See declared “Mamma Margherita” Venerable: the recognition of the heroism of her virtues represents a great step towards the sainthood of this great educator and first teacher of Christian life for her son Giovannino.
