The Clarisse Monastery "San Bernardino" is located in the heart of historic Viterbo, just steps from the medieval San Pellegrino district, the Cathedral, and the Papal Palace. The guesthouse and monastery are located on the Via Francigena.
The monastery church houses the body of Saint Giacinta Marescotti, a woman much loved by the city of Viterbo. She was called the "mother of charity" for the numerous charitable works she promoted for the poorest of the poor from within the monastery.

The Monastery welcomes pilgrims, parish groups, scouts, tourists, workers, and anyone looking for a few days' accommodation. Each room has a kitchenette and refrigerator.
