HANASTASIS Monastery in Montegalda (Vicenza)
2 posti letto

Description
The Monastery hosts only for vocational reasons and in silence.
The Monastery of the Resurrection (or Hanastasis in Greek) is a place of silence, prayer, community life and hospitality by the Cistercian nuns.
Some rules for those hosted at the Monastery:
Keep the SILENCE:
- when you have to speak, try to do so in a low voice and with sobriety of words.
Silence is especially recommended to you:
- from the hour of Compline, in the evening, until the morning after the Eucharist
- during meals in the refectory and while washing dishes
Be PUNCTUAL to all liturgical celebrations and meals, also to avoid causing inconvenience.
Treat with the utmost RESPECT the books given to you for use in prayer and everything else.
The singing of the monastic liturgy requires an "inner," collected voice: therefore, if you wish to join the monastic choir, be careful to keep your voice moderate; in this way, you will be able to listen to the choir and therefore fit harmoniously into it.
Do not use cell phones, radios, or smoke inside the Monastery.
Within 200 meters, there's a bus stop, ATM, bar/restaurant, supermarket, pharmacy, and residential area. The train station is over 10 km away.
By provisions of the Ministry of Tourism, the facility is exempt from the National Identification Code as it does not charge fees but accepts donations to the management body.
