Monastery SANTA CHIARA in Fanano (Modena)
8 posti letto

Description
The monastery, founded by Ottonello Ottonelli between 1593 and 1598, and the church dedicated to the Saint of Assisi and the Most Holy Annunciation, consecrated on June 17, 1601, have preserved both the historic perimeter of the convent space, which defines an entire urban block of Fanano, and the monastery layout, which develops around a large cloister and vegetable gardens, despite the monastery's radical reconstruction in 1922 following the 1921 earthquake.
By provisions of the Ministry of Tourism, the facility is exempt from the National Identification Code as it does not charge fees but accepts donations to the management body.
