The Casa del Pellegrino Oasi di Maria (Pilgrim's Home, Oasis of Mary) is a religious shelter that is part of the Sanctuary of Maria Santissima Consolatrice del Carpinello di Visciano. The Servant of God, Father Arturo D'Onofrio, whose beatification process is underway, wanted to provide this wonderful place in the hills with a home where people can stop to regenerate, rediscover the inner peace and serenity needed to face daily life on their journey of redemption.

The facility regularly welcomes groups of priests and religious, ecclesial associations and movements, parishes, and pilgrims, offering them the opportunity to organize retreats, spiritual exercises, activities for young people and teenagers, spiritual meetings and prayer sessions, or simply spend a few days of relaxation in a healthy environment. The facility also allows lay people and religious to organize conferences, programming sessions, training, and orientation sessions for all ages.

The Sanctuary, the Oasis of Mary, and the nearby 17th-century Camaldoli Hermitage make Visciano a truly unique center of prayer and spirituality in our area.

Smoking is prohibited throughout the property. Pets are not allowed. Reception is open during fixed hours. Air conditioning is available in common areas.
