The La Chiusura refuge is a stunning rural structure made of pietra serena, on the edge of the Bocca Semola Forest (100 square km), on the border between the Marche and Umbria regions, facing Monte Nerone, at an altitude of 700 m above sea level.
The facility features two interconnecting multipurpose rooms for recreational and educational activities, each accommodating up to 30 people. The facility can accommodate 30 people thanks to bedrooms and children's rooms spread across three floors. The spacious kitchen is equipped with everything needed for organized and self-managed dining. The dining room can accommodate up to 30 people. Disabled access is available on the ground floor. Independent oil heating and a wood-burning fireplace are provided. The outdoor spaces include 15 hectares of woodland and meadow.
Take the E45 state road to Città di Castello and then take the Apecchiese interregional road to Apecchio. From Fano, take the SP3 main road to Acqualagna and then take the Apecchiese interregional road to Apecchio. The refuge can be reached by car, minivan, or small bus (up to 30 seats) on a paved road.
