Oratory of Don Giacomo Candido in Sutrio (Udine)
Description
The "Don Giacomo Candido" oratory, owned by the Parish of Ognissanti, is located at an altitude of approximately 600 meters in Sutrio, at the foot of Mount Zoncolan, which has gained international fame thanks to the Giro d'Italia and its ski infrastructure, making it the most sought-after resort in Friuli Venezia Giulia.
The property is located both close to the town centre (1,200 inhabitants) and at the same time close to the forest.
The "Don G. Candido" oratory was built 20 years ago and is in excellent condition. It features a fully equipped kitchen and a large hall for indoor activities. There are single and double rooms, as well as four dormitories, for a total of about fifty people. It also has nine bathrooms and nine showers. Large outdoor spaces allow for a variety of activities, even in the rain: more specifically, there are two large asphalt areas, a grass soccer field, and an indoor soccer field. A church is available for liturgical celebrations just 30 meters away.
Within 200 meters, there's a church, bus stop, ATM, bar/restaurant, supermarket, pharmacy, and a residential area. The hospital is over 10 km away.
July-September minimum stay of one week. Other months minimum stay of two days.
By provisions of the Ministry of Tourism, the facility is exempt from the National Identification Code as it does not charge fees but accepts donations to the management body.
