The hospital of San Martino and Giacomo of Lucca, founded in 1076 AD, to welcome "the poor and pilgrims", yesterday as today it is located near the cathedral of Lucca of which it enjoys an excellent view.
The hospitality is managed by the Confraternity of St. James of Compostella and offers Donativo: dinner, overnight stay and breakfast, but above all the pilgrim is welcomed with the washing of the feet according to the ancient rite of hospitality.
