The La Casa nel Borgo Hostel is managed by Tra Montana guide dell'Appennino, an association based in Umbria, in the medieval village of Costacciaro within the Monte Cucco Regional Natural Park, in the province of Perugia, a short distance from Gubbio, Fabriano, Gualdo Tadino, and Assisi.

The structure was created from a former monastery and adapted to accommodate groups who wish to share their stay in dormitories and large common areas.
In the basement we find the reception, the living room, the kitchen, the dining room, a bathroom and a private cloister.
On the ground floor we find a 4-bed dormitory with disabled access and private bathroom, an 8-bed dormitory, the common room, the screening/teaching room, 2 bathrooms, 4 showers
On the first floor, there are a 20-bed dormitory, a 4-bed dormitory, a 12-bed dormitory, 4 bathrooms, and 5 showers. There are 48 beds in total.

Just outside the village are large meadows and woods perfect for outdoor games and adventurous hikes. A 3-km CAI trail leads to the tall beech forests of Pian delle Macinare, a place of considerable natural interest.

The facility is home to an environmental education center and offers related facilities and activities that can be used by groups under special conditions, such as the Monte Cucco Park Nature Museum, a visit to the Monte Cucco Cave, materials for orienteering games, and even the nearby swimming pool and municipal sports field.
