The "Le Fonti" Hostel-Refuge is located in the charming village of Armenzano, 760 meters above sea level, in the splendid and rejuvenating atmosphere of the Mount Subasio Regional Park and within the evocative surroundings of the city of Assisi. Housed in the former elementary school, it is a simple and welcoming haven with a refreshment area/kitchen for the many hikers exploring the mountain's adventurous trails and for groups seeking a peaceful retreat.

Fully accessible, it features an elevator, a common room with two bathrooms, and two more bathrooms on the first floor, as well as two shared bedrooms with 4 and 6 beds—with the option of adding two additional camp beds. It sleeps 10 people in total, plus two more if needed. Scout groups can also use the ground-floor room if needed. Each room has its own thermostat and blankets, while for the sake of sustainability, we prioritize providing our own bed linens and towels.

The kitchen is equipped to cook about ten meals, with two induction hobs, a fridge/freezer, a microwave, and all the necessary utensils for self-catering. The colorful common room, with its unique acoustics, features a nature bookshelf, circular benches, a round table, musical instruments, and community games.

During the winter months we ask for a minimum of 4 people to be present at the same time.
