The Marello Hostel is run by the Oblate Sisters of St. Joseph: here you'll find hospitality, tranquility, and rest, along with affordable prices for your stay in the heart of Rome. We are the female branch of the Oblates of St. Joseph, and we strive to serve the interests of Jesus, as St. Joseph did. Jesus' interests today are: children, young people, women, families, and all the people we encounter. Through this work, we also support our missions in Brazil, the Philippines, Peru, Nigeria, and Mexico.
The hostel is near the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore and the Basilica of St. John Lateran, a stone's throw from the Colosseum and the Imperial Forums, the Altar of the Fatherland, and the Minor Basilica of Santa Maria in Aracoeli. Next to our hostel is the Church of San Lorenzo in Fonte.
