Our hostel is managed by the local Legambiente branch and, as such, seeks to promote a more attentive and responsible style of tourism.

Our facility has a total capacity of 50 places in two different sectors:
Scoiattolo, with double, triple and quadruple rooms, all equipped with a sink and with shared bathrooms in the sector, can accommodate a maximum of 25 people;
Orchidea, with double, triple and quadruple rooms, all with private bathrooms in the room, can accommodate a maximum of 25 people.
Both areas have kitchens and a dining room/common room available to all guests. The kitchens are fully equipped for preparing and eating meals and also feature dishwashers for easy cleaning. Eco-friendly cleaning products are provided by the facility.
For an even more sustainable stay, the use of disposable plastic tableware and containers is not permitted.

Use of the self-managed facility includes:
- exclusive use of all common areas (kitchen, dining room, and relaxation room)
- autonomy in terms of purchasing food products
- the property must be returned in the same clean condition as it was found - penalties will be applied for failure to clean the spaces.

Within 200 meters, there's a church and a bar/restaurant. Between 1 and 5 km, there's a bus stop, ATM, supermarket, pharmacy, and a residential area. Between 5 and 10 km, there's a train station and hospital. The airport is over 10 km away.

Squirrel Sector: Self-catering cost: €430 per night, €550 with bed linen and bathroom towels included.
Orchid Sector: self-catering cost €530 per night, €650 with bed linen and bathroom linen included.
Inside the structure there are two multipurpose rooms available for rent for activities:
- the 99-seat auditorium (approx. 200 m2) with stage and projector, equipped with electricity and en-suite bathrooms, costs €250 per day and can be used from mid-April to mid-October.
- The Balassi Room, near the reception, seats 50 (approx. 84 m2) and features a flip chart, projector, and bathroom. The cost is €110 per day. (Updated 2025)

Starting in 2024, the Municipality of Galbiate will levy a €2 tourist tax on all guests staying for up to 5 nights (for exemptions and further details, please consult the resolution on our website).
