Welcome to this page! We are Sister Cristina and Sister Rosangela, and we have lived at the "Eremo di Perloz" since the summer of 2015.

The Hermitage, dedicated to the Holy Trinity, is located in the small hamlet of Les Bois-dessus (Woods Above) in the municipality of Perloz, in the Aosta Valley. The house, as it stands today, is the result of a demanding renovation, which has given us the joy of making the Hermitage suitable for hospitality as well.

People have passed through us and continue to pass through us for a variety of reasons: some are looking for a place of prayer or retreat, some need rest and silence, some are walking trails (the Via Francigena, the Cammino di San Martino, the Cammino Balteo and, for mountaineers, the Alte Vie) and more.

Our hospitality includes various reception options.
For overnight stays, we have four (five) beds available, divided into two double rooms, each with its own bathroom. We also provide simple yet tasty meals—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—including some of our own produce, such as fruit from our garden.

During warmer months, we have welcomed and continue to welcome individuals and groups for a one-day gathering. For these, we have a covered space, lawns and small meadows on the terraces, and wooded areas. We are working to create additional spaces in our "park," and a new dirt road leads to the nearby sanctuary of Notre-Dame de la Garde.
There's also room for Scouts from the Rover and Scout branches, passing through on a route or joining us for camp. Just keep in mind the mild seasons and contact us in advance.

Finally, we would like to share with you that anyone who wishes is always welcome to join us in our prayers in the Hermitage chapel, particularly at Evening Prayer, in the late afternoon each day; at Mass, celebrated periodically; and at Vigils, on certain evenings throughout the year. We are also available for moments of deeper study of the Word of God or discussion of the spiritual life.
