Welcome to this Page! We are Sister Cristina and Sister Rosangela and we have been living in the «Eremo di Perloz» since the summer of 2015.

The Hermitage, dedicated to the Holy Trinity, is located in the small village of Les Bois-dessus ( Woods above ) in the municipality of Perloz, in the Aosta Valley. The house, as it can be seen now, is the result of a demanding renovation work, which has given us the joy of making the Hermitage suitable for hospitality as well.

People have passed and may pass by us for different reasons: there are those looking for a place of prayer, those who need rest, those who want to visit the Aosta Valley, those who are walking along different routes (the Via Francigena, the Cammino di San Martino, the Cammino Balteo and, for mountaineers, the Alte Vie) and more.

Our hospitality is free-will and includes various reception options.

For overnight stays we have four beds available in two double rooms with en-suite bathroom. We also provide meals – breakfast, lunch and dinner – in a simple and tasty way and also putting in something of our own production, for example chestnut honey.

In the warmer periods we have welcomed and welcome individuals and groups for a day of meeting; for these we have a covered space, lawns and meadows on the terraces, and wooded areas. In the woods we are then working to create more easily accessible paths: our territory is suggestive but in some places also a little harsh!

There is also room for Scouts of the Rover and Scolte branch, passing along a route or for meeting camps with us. You just need to take into account the mild seasons and contact us in time.

Finally, we share with you that, for anyone who wishes, it is always possible to participate in our prayer in the chapel of the Hermitage, in particular in the Evening Prayer , in the late afternoon of every day; in the Mass, celebrated periodically; and in the Vigils , on some evenings of the year.

Within 200 m. inhabited area. Between 1 and 5 km church, ATM, bar/restaurant, supermarket, pharmacy. Between 5 and 10 km train station, hospital. Over 10 km airport.

Smoking is prohibited throughout the property. The Hermitage can only be reached on foot for the last stretch (5 minutes).

By provisions of the Ministry of Tourism, the facility is exempt from the National Identification Code as it does not apply rates but accepts donations in favor of the management body.
