The “Cascina Granbego” Social Promotion Association has been managing the “La Sciverna” Hiking Refuge since July 2014.
Completely immersed in the greenery of the Beigua Regional Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site , in the unique and mythical meeting place in Italy between the Alps, the Apennines, the plain and the sea, the structure is located along the connecting routes to the Alta Via dei Monti Liguri, a stone's throw from the beautiful and renowned historic centre of Sassello, home of Blessed Chiara Luce Badano , and a few kilometres from the coast.
The facility is open year-round by reservation. It is self-managed and suitable for large groups such as parishes, scouts, school groups, community centers, day centers, sports groups, etc.
It consists of two accommodation facilities with 7 rooms (from 4 to 6 beds) for a total of 24 beds with the possibility of additional temporary places .
Bus stop within 200 meters. Church and residential area within 1 km. ATM, bar/restaurant, supermarket, and pharmacy within 1 to 5 km. Train station and hospital within 10 km.
Smoking is prohibited throughout the property. Reception is open during set hours.
Rates for self-managed groups : for those who propose a specific artistic/cultural/educational/social project: from €15 per person per night (additional cost in the winter months for wood and pellet heating, based on consumption. Further discounts for longer stays). Rates for single persons: €25 per person per night in a bunk bed, including use of the kitchen. (updated 2024)
