Casa per Ferie ROBY'S NIDO in Chiusi della Verna (Arezzo)
6 posti letto

Description
A fully renovated period home nestled in the heart of the Casentino Forests, once owned by Count Orlando Cattani, who donated Mount Verna to Saint Francis of Assisi. The residence is located on the Via dei Pellegrini, which connects La Verna to Assisi, passing through Chiusi's oldest neighborhood, known as "Castello," because it contains the ruins of Count Orlando's Castle, located 300 meters from the residence. Overlooking the ruins is the Foresteria Michelangiolesca, where the young Michelangelo Buonarroti lived, and who found inspiration here for his The Creation of Adam, currently on display in the Sistine Chapel in Rome.
Easily accessible from the house, both on foot and by car, is the Sanctuary of La Verna, a place steeped in mysticism, where Saint Francis received the "Holy Stigmata." Several hiking trails of great scenic and naturalistic value also branch off from the house.
Within 200 meters: church, bus stop, residential area. Within 1 km: ATM, bar/restaurant, supermarket, pharmacy. Over 10 km: train station, airport, and hospital.
Smoking is prohibited throughout the property.
