The convent is located on a hill 400 meters above sea level. It is a place of silence and personal prayer. Our community is Franciscan of the Third Order Regular. During the summer months, many weddings and baptisms take place.

Situated a few kilometres from the city, on Mount Kronio, with the picturesque mountain range that runs from Nadore to historic Caltabellotta behind it and the wide expanse of sea to the south, closed on the left by Capobianco, on which the city of Heraclea Minoa once stood, and on the right towards Selinunte, by Capo San Marco, the Sanctuary, with the thick pine forest nearby, constitutes one of the most beautiful and characteristic places in Sicily.
