In a corner of the Maritime Alps located between the Stura, Gesso and Tinèe valleys, in a splendid natural environment where a wide crown of Gnessistic peaks opens up, with sides smoothed by glaciers in ancient eras in rounded crags and in sloping basins in which picturesque lakes gather, surrounded by the imposing peaks of Maladecia to the South and Bravaria to the North, stands the complex of the Sanctuary of Sant' Anna, which with its 2035 meters of height holds the record of being the highest Sanctuary in Europe.

It is a place where pilgrims can come to open themselves to prayer and praise of Him who created the world and its wonders, in the silence of the mountains and the beauty of the landscape; a place of welcome where one can rest and restore the body and spirit, for moments of reflection, celebration and fraternal sharing.

Since its birth, the Sanctuary has always had hospitality as its first vocation. Built by the old Vinadiesi to facilitate a little the communications between the valleys for the salt and oil trade, even today it wants to offer the possibility to everyone to spend a period of restorative break where the sun shines on the mountains of God.

The Sanctuary offers during the opening period that usually goes from the beginning of June to the end of September the canteen and overnight services. The Sanctuary complex has numerous rooms, located in the various buildings.
