Benedictine Monastery of San Pietro di Sorres in Borutta (Sassari)
45 posti letto

Description
The Cathedral of San Pietro di Sorres is one of the most beautiful churches in the Pisan Romanesque style. The harmony of the church immediately strikes the eye. The apse is illuminated by the rising sun that enters the church through three single-lancet windows, captivating with its elegance and architectural style. The cross rises above the loggia, and the presbytery rises above the nave.
The monks of Sorres have set up a "guesthouse" to warmly welcome their brothers and offer them the opportunity to rediscover themselves and thus rediscover God and encounter Him. Every year, Sorres organizes "study weeks" on biblical and patristic topics, "liturgy weeks," courses in "spiritual exercises" for priests, religious, and lay people, "retreat days," and so on. The specific apostolate of the Benedictine monks of Sorres in the Sardinian Church is intended to be this: fraternal and cordial openness to all brothers, to share with them through their lives what they have contemplated in the presence of God.
The Monastery of San Pietro di Sorres has two four-bed rooms, 10 two-bed rooms, and 11 single rooms, all with bathrooms. The rooms are equipped with sheets and blankets. Accommodation includes overnight stays with breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
