Description

The San Sisto in Agris complex, located within the “Colognola ai Colli” municipal park (territory of the Colognola district) consisted of a small church, the rectory, the annexed rural buildings overlooking the courtyard, located next to the church, and the surrounding green area.
The green area has become a fruit and vegetable garden, the rectory and rural buildings have been transformed into a hostel, with a renovation project carried out by the Parish of San Sisto II in Colognola , which still owns the complex, with the contribution of the Lombardy Region, as part of a regional project for the development of youth hostels.

The various rooms of the rectory and rural buildings, both on the ground floor and on the first floor, renovated maintaining the original characteristics, house the rooms of the Hostel: from the Reception to the breakfast room, to the living room with TV, to the bedrooms, all with private bathroom with shower, and with a variable capacity of two to six beds (single or bunk); one of the rooms is equipped for disabled guests.
The Hostel, which is not a hotel, offers overnight stays and breakfast for limited periods of time, with the possibility of staying in private or shared rooms; it is therefore suitable for tourist stays or for sports activities or for short business trips, with reference mainly to young people and their companions (art.24, L. Reg Lombardia 01.10.2015, n.27)
