The hostel of the "Friends of the Via Francigena of Santhià" was made available in 2009 by the Municipality of Santhià – Department of Territorial Promotion, Tourism and Traditions.

Equipped with free Wi-Fi, it consists of four apartments: two on the ground floor, one of which also houses the reception desk, and two on the upper floors, for a total of 21 beds.

The hostel is located in the center of Santhià, near Piazza Roma (at Via della Madonnetta 2, next to the bell tower). Access to the reception desk is from Corso Nuova Italia, at no. 134 (for registration and documentation) .

Pilgrims with the "credential" can request accommodation at the hostel. The Oropa Way credentials are also available at the reception desk.

To book the hostel, you can call 388.6333865, Caffè della Piazza (tel. 348.3388203), closed on Mondays, or the Immobilcasa agency (tel. 333.1889050). All pick-up points are located in Santhià's main square and are just a few dozen meters from the hostel.

Pilgrims who wish can also eat at special prices in some restaurants in Santhia.

Within 200 meters: church, ATM, bar/restaurant, pharmacy, residential area. Within 1 km: bus stop, train station, supermarket, hospital.

By provisions of the Ministry of Tourism, the facility is exempt from the National Identification Code as it does not charge fees but accepts donations to the management body.
