Description

The house "La stella alpina", managed by the APS of the same name, is located in Isola, a beautiful hamlet of the municipality of Madesimo, in the province of Sondrio.
Very close to the village church, it has a porphyry courtyard outside and is surrounded by a huge lawn that can be used for games and activities.
A few steps from the structure, the artificial lake of Isola makes the landscape truly enchanting.
Behind the house the view is dominated by the Spluga Pass and all around, from the mountains that surround it, dozens of waterfalls descend which further increase the beauty of the place.
In the summer season there are numerous walks that start directly from Isola, of varying difficulty and length, which allow you to even reach Switzerland, crossing the Spluga Pass.
In winter, guests of the house can practice all winter sports (ski mountaineering, cross-country skiing, ice skating, snowshoeing) using the facilities and structures of Madesimo, renowned as a very well-equipped ski resort, which is located just 3 km from the house and can be reached by convenient scheduled buses. For those who travel with their own vehicles, to avoid the parking problem, it is possible to get off at Campodolcino, a location equally close to Isola, where you can leave your cars and go up to Madesimo via the very convenient SkyExpress.

The house, recently renovated, is arranged on four floors served by two internal staircases that allow you to easily reach all the spaces of the structure and by a modern elevator.
The rooms are furnished with wooden or metal beds and wooden wardrobes and bedside tables, in perfect mountain style. The bathrooms have been recently renovated and have a shower with box or curtain and modern sanitary fixtures. Each room and each bathroom has one or more windows that allow perfect ventilation.
The heating plant was completely redone a few years ago and guarantees perfect heating of the house and plenty of hot water for guests.
