Villa Sacro Cuore isn't a "perfect" five-star hotel, but a simple, protected place where you can find yourself. Here, you breathe a different, regenerating atmosphere, that Capuchin atmosphere desired by Padre Pio. Nothing sensational. Many return because they've enjoyed it... in the tranquility of a place surrounded by greenery and contemplation.

We offer tranquility in a truly simple atmosphere, in keeping with the Franciscan spirit of the Poor Man of Assisi. We are in San Giovanni Rotondo, almost in the heart of the Gargano, a unique oasis of biodiversity, an ancient land rich in history and Christian culture. Here, you can still visit evocative and characteristic sites, such as the ancient abbeys and magnificent churches that have made this fascinating area shine with a truly unique light.

A heritage unparalleled anywhere in the world, to be breathed and experienced amidst a healthy, but above all, strong and resilient, nature. The sea, the islands, the lush forest, the Sanctuaries of Saint Pio of Pietrelcina (we are 30 meters away), Saint Matthew, and Saint Michael the Archangel have been coveted destinations for millions of travelers.

Not perfect but rather original, the Villa deliberately avoids modern standards. You won't find a Jacuzzi here, but a different kind of relaxation, an interior one: silence and contemplation.

The Villa, surrounded by greenery, also has a large, elegant room for conferences or seminars (see photo) and is available for both spiritual retreats and catered events for hen/stag parties or similar; it offers special rates for groups of 30-40 people.

Unfortunately, the facility is currently not suitable for people with specific mobility disabilities, but it is excellent for those who need a place to stay for family members of patients hospitalized at the Padre Pio Hospital, Casa Sollievo. It is even more convenient for those seeking medium- to long-term stays.
